The Religious Education Guidelines for Elementary Catechesis (2000) is the diocesan approved curriculum intended for implementation in every parish and school engaged in faith formation with children.  The textbook is not the curriculum; rather this curriculum is designed to be the road map for lesson planning and textbook use.

In 2009, this curriculum was reformatted for improved use in the Catholic schools.Click the “Elementary – Catholic School” to review this format. Parish catechetical leaders are welcome to utilize that format should it prove to be helpful.
