 Greetings!

The mission of the Church is to evangelize and catechize.  Parish leaders who understand their vocation to this mission know that all that is done in Jesus' name helps to fulfill this mission.  The celebration of the Eucharist holds a special gift for us as we each enter into the Paschal Mystery over and over again.  As we live out each Liturgical season, this is played out in new and ever mystifying ways.  May we all be blessed during this Easter season to know that 'what' we do in Memory of our Lord, is as important as 'why' we do what we do.

Easter Blessings upon all parish leaders of catechesis!

 Mission Statement

Embracing the conviction that religious formation is a lifelong, holistic, developmental process that happens in families and parish communities, the Department of Lifelong Faith Formation is dedicated to supporting the faith formation of all people of the Diocese of Buffalo. This lifelong process aims to develop disciples of Jesus who are committed to authentic Catholic Tradition and Gospel values. This office carries out this mission by resourcing, training, and networking those who are leaders and ministers in faith formation throughout the rural, urban and suburban parish and school communities of the Diocese of Buffalo.
