Plan on attending the 2014 Catechetical Convocation on Tuesday, November 4, at Lucarelli's in Lackawanna, from 9:30AM-3:30PM. See Flyer for details and registration.

Question of the Week:

For the Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time, October 5, 2014

“…in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.
Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ

Jesus.”

  • Are you quiet in mind and body when you pray to let God bring you peace?
  • What will you do to incorporate a sense of quiet prayer in your daily life?

 Mission Statement

Embracing the conviction that religious formation is a lifelong, holistic, developmental process that happens in families and parish communities, the Department of Lifelong Faith Formation is dedicated to supporting the faith formation of all people of the Diocese of Buffalo. This lifelong process aims to develop disciples of Jesus who are committed to authentic Catholic Tradition and Gospel values. This office carries out this mission by resourcing, training, and networking those who are leaders and ministers in faith formation throughout the rural, urban and suburban parish and school communities of the Diocese of Buffalo.
