 Question of the Week
First Sunday of Advent
3 days ago by Elizabeth Santini

"As you think about preparing for the coming of Christ, what is one thing that helps you focus your attention on Christ? How can you grow in love and holiness this Advent? How can you do so more and more?"

Reflection taken from America Magazine's Preparing With Love

Advent Moments of Mercy - "God's sending of Jesus is an act of mercy for the world, and so the season of Advent is a perfect time for reflection upon themes of mercy and hope. Pope Francis has called upon all Catholics to be a living sign of God's love for the world. By embracing the call to mercy, we will know the full grace of the season." Monday, November 16, 2015 by Elizabeth Santini

"Reflect on Christ as king. How does Jesus' kingship comfort you when you think of political and other disputes in our own day? Does the feast of Christ the King help you make sense of the church's role in the world? "

Reflection taken from America Magazine's King of All

 Mission Statement

Embracing the conviction that religious formation is a lifelong, holistic, developmental process that happens in families and parish communities, the Department of Lifelong Faith Formation is dedicated to supporting the faith formation of all people of the Diocese of Buffalo. This lifelong process aims to develop disciples of Jesus who are committed to authentic Catholic Tradition and Gospel values. This office carries out this mission by resourcing, training, and networking those who are leaders and ministers in faith formation throughout the rural, urban and suburban parish and school communities of the Diocese of Buffalo.
