In order to live the Gospel message, we must always and everywhere advocate for the needs of the poor and seek justice for all.   As Americans, we have a unique opportunity to participate in the government like nowhere else.  Adults, teens, and children have a great opportunity to learn about what it means to be a person of faith, a Catholic in the Unitied States, by putting our beliefs into practice and using our voices to make a difference - but first we must become informed! 

Bishop Edward Kmiec released a letter on January 27, 2012, outlining the current issue surrounding the HHS Mandate.  This has serious implications for the First Ammendment regardless of ones religious background.
